Personal safety, close at hand.

PAL+ is a portable alarm transmitter with features that provide increased security and personal safety, as it is a small and handy transmitter button that can be worn in several ways.

The user can easily raise the alarm by pressing the alarm button, which sends a radio signal to a receiver and on to the central server software. The alarm can then be shown on wall mounted displays, or sent to portable devices like the C-31xx range of cordless DECT phones, the SMART1 phone or a simple paging device, so that assistance can be rendered to the user in distress.

As the button has an integrated location receiver which detects our location beacons, it can give accurate position data when an alarm is raised either manually or when it passes a position that automatically delivers position data. Automatic alerts could be used for certain conditions e.g. leaving site.

The unit also has the ability to use built-in motion sensor and inactivity alarm functions and can therefore give an alarm when a period of inactivity occurs e.g. man-down.

The device is IP67 classified (waterproof) and has a battery life of up to 2 years. As the batteries are user replaceable, they can be swapped out by the user which keeps the running costs low.
