I've downloaded the app, how do I log in?

The app itself is free, but you will need login credentials in order to use the app.

To find out how Atus can become your Defender why not join today and experience it for yourself?

I've signed up and set the alarm off, how do I stop it?

You can see an example video on what notifications will be sent to your contacts (if authorised to deactivate the alarm) and how to stop the alarm by CLICKING HERE

​​They will receive notification of the alarm by two possible methods, by SMS and by email.

By SMS message -

  • The mobile will receive an SMS message from "Atus" with the phrase "Atus Defender alarm from 'your name'. Go to ....... "

  • If they click on the link in your SMS it will take them directly to a page showing the details of the alarm and where you are. Logically they need to render assistance to you first before deactivating the alarm, otherwise it stops live tracking you!

  • The link page includes your name, your GPS location etc. and on the left hand side they will see a "Deactivate alarm" link.

  • Click that link and after a few seconds the "Deactivate alarm" link will disappear and the alarm on your mobile will stop.

By email message -

  • The email address registered for the contact service will have been sent an email from "alarm@skygd.net "

  • Remember to check the spam folder for an email, just in case!

  • The message subject will be - "Alarm message from Atus Defender"

  • The message will read as - "An Atus Defender alarm has been activated by 'your name'. Use the following link for more information: ..... "

  • If they click on the link in the email it will take them directly to a page showing the details of the alarm and where you are. Logically they need to render assistance to you first before deactivating the alarm, otherwise it stops live tracking you!

  • The link page includes your name, your GPS location etc. and on the left hand side you will see a "Deactivate alarm" link.

  • Click that link and after a few seconds the "Deactivate alarm" link will disappear and the alarm on your mobile will stop.

If they cannot manage to locate the SMS or the email message and are having trouble deactivating the alarm, they can contact our support team using the email address shown at the bottom of the page.

How many times can I set off the alarm during the initial 14 day cancellation period?

We want you to be able to see how the alarm notification works, so during the initial 14 day cancellation period you will get an email and an SMS for each alarm and can see all of your GPS positions each time your alarm is set off on a Google Map. If you're using your PC to look at the Google Map on the alarm link, try the street view!

When you subscribe to Atus Defender then as part of that package you get access to a 24/7/365 professional call centre for every alarm you set off. The SMS service is part of the paid subscription, but as it's awesome and we want you to be able to see how fast it is. The only thing we would ask you is that you don't just set the alarm off repeatedly for fun to see how it works ..... remember you are going to be contacted by the alarm receiving centre each time you set the alarm off to see if you're OK!

Every new subscription comes with a no questions asked 14-day cancellation period, from the point we tell you your subscription is active you have 14-days to decide if you wish to cancel your subscription.

We will not take any payment for your subscription until after your 14 day cancellation period has ended.

How do I stop the service early if I signed up for the year?

You can cancel your subscription at any time by giving not less than 30 days notice, in writing, quoting your name and mobile phone number to the following email address cancel@atus-systems.co.uk. We will then contact you to arrange the cancellation.
